West Hollywood is an incorporated city in Los Angeles County and was founded on November 29th, 1984. The city is bordered on the north by the Hollywood Hills, on the West by Beverly Hills, on the east Hollywood, and the south by Fairfax District of Los Angeles. In the Last years of the 19th century, the first large development would become West Hollywood “the town of Sherman” was established by Moses Sherman. Sherman became the location of the railroad's main shops, yards and car barns. The town chose not to incorporate with Los Angeles and was proud to be called “West Hollywood”; they’re by borrowing glamour and celebrity from the entertainment industry just arriving in to town at that time. West Hollywood is known for the sunset strip and continues to be an attraction for locals and out of towners.
